How to Order
New to custom, luxury press-ons? No worries, this full guide will walk you through our ordering process so you know exactly what to expect!
Note: Sizing kits are included with any set orders, so if you’re a new client and jump straight to ordering a set, you can combine step one and two!
Step 1
Sizing Kits
All new clients are required to purchase a sizing kit before any sets, whether pre-designed or custom. This allows us to get the most natural-looking, long-wearing fit for you as possible.
You have two options:
- A basic sizing kit which comes with one, unpainted tip of every available size in your chosen shape/length. A single shape/length kit is included with any full set purchase for new clients.
- A ready-to-wear sizing kit (our most popular option!) which comes with two, painted tips of every available size in your chosen shape/length. Not only can we mark your sizes for future sets, but you can file down the cuticle area to fit your nails and wear them right away!
Step 2
Choose a Set
After you’re sized, you’ll pick a design that you love! Whether choosing from our Pre-Designed offerings or going full Custom Design to bring your vision to life, we’ve got something for you ๐ค
Custom Orders
We offer four levels of design complexity, and you’ll choose and purchase the consultation listing for your tier. There will be an option for you to enter your sizes from your sizing kit.
After purchase, feel free to upload any inspo pics to our photo upload form, along with your client photos – these are top-down photos of each individual finger so I can custom-shape the tips to fit you like a glove.
Then, I’ll create a sketch for your custom design and send it over to you for approval, so you know exactly what to expect from your final set.
Step 3
Enjoy!
After our standard 3-14 days processing time, excluding shipping, your set will be mailed to you!
Don’t worry, you’ll receive plenty of photos along the way, including before we finalize shipment.
Your orders will come with a display box, and everything you’ll need to apply and remove your press-ons.
Application Kit:
- Cuticle pusher
- Alcohol pad
- File
- Buffer block
- Adhesive tabs for short-term wear (1-7 days wear)
- Makartt low viscosity, air-dry glue (7-14 days wear)
- New clients receive one 2g tube of Alda SOFbondโข glue (7-30 days wear)
- Press-Off Serum Sample
- Cuticle Oil Sample
Bonus step: add-ons
- Rush Order: Pushes your order to the top of the queue, cutting down your processing time from 3-14 working days to created and shipped within 3-5 working days
- Pre-Etching: If you use glue to apply, pre-etching the underside of your press-ons helps the glue adhere to the tip, resulting in a much longer, secure hold.
- Upgrade sizing kit: If you’re a new client, you can choose to upgrade your included basic sizing kit to a ready-to-wear sizing kit at a small discount!
- Upgrade coffin: All custom or predesigned sets come in a coffin display box, which is designed to magnetically attach to the travel bottom half, allowing you to carry your application with you on-the-go! This upgrade offers you the travel box add-on at a discounted price.
Nail bed shape
Natural
A wider, less curved nail bed. Nail plate adjacent to the sidewalls can be nearly parallel with the center of the nail plate. Most common nail bed shape!
Curved
A nail bed that has a more prominent โc-curveโ, meaning the nail plate adjacent to the sidewall is lower than the center of your nail plate. Forms a c-shape when looking at it from under the free edge.
Available Shapes & Lengths
Lower apex, closer to the shape of a natural nail. Best fit for wider nail beds with less of a noticeable c-curve, and has more short length offerings.
Higher apex, more similar to “acrylic” enhancements. Also a better fit for nail beds with a deeper c-curve as the angle to the sidewalls is steeper, and fits more flush against the natural nail. More long length offerings.
