Even nail enhancements from a salon will technically require some roughing up of your natural nail, but what really damages them is any type of removal that causes excess trauma – this means ripping off your nails! Ripping off press-ons, gel polish, gel-x, etc, rips away layers of your natural nail and that is what causes damage.

As long as you remove them patiently and carefully, which Press-Off Serum can help with, you should see a path back to healthy and strong natural nails.

This is why we require sizing kits for all new clients. By finding the perfect size for each finger and hand, and sending me your client photos (top-down view of each finger), this allows me to size your orders to fit you 99% (subtracting the 1% for any extremely minimal filing you may have to do because virtual isn’t the same as in-person!).

That helps them not only look as natural as salon enhancements, but it also ensures longevity of wear and allows you to reuse them with confidence as they take less trauma than if they were a bad fit!

Your mileage may vary depending on what you do with your hands and how you remove them.

I’ve personally seen ~5x reuse, but some of my fellow press-on wearers have seen up to 8x! The most important things to consider when wearing and caring for your nail investments are:

• Wear gloves when doing dishes or submerging your nails in water
• Nails are jewels, not tools! Don’t use them to pick at stickers, open soda cans, etc. They’ll withstand the work, especially if you use the Alda SOFbond™ glue, but your press-ons still take on that trauma
• Store them appropriately when not in use, like with the provided display/storage box!
